Adult Production Health & Safety Services has been developed by Free Speech Coalition (FSC), industry stakeholders, and legal & medical experts to uphold self-regulation for health & safety. The program is operated by Free Speech Coalition, the adult business association.
Without a centralized system to verify work availability status for performers, industry health & safety protocols would be difficult to implement effectively. Health & safety procedures must be carried out efficiently by trained medical personnel and industry members, in order to safeguard performers and the production industry.
The APHSS.org database program works with established healthcare providers, to provide choices in testing facilities for performers in the Los Angeles area and nationwide.
FSC has represented a pro-industry voice during proceedings with CalOSHA, in an effort to develop appropriate health & safety guidelines for adult productions in California. We have led the opposition to the Los Angeles City condom ordinance and will continue to campaign against the condom initiative scheduled for the November L.A. County ballot.
